Welcome to Midgard, a world of high tech and deep magic, where the Norse gods still rule. In a thriving, modern metropolis, svartálfar (dark elves) patrol in their sleek, black cars, trolls lurk in their hideous lairs beneath the city streets, frost giants plot the downfall of the gods, and the gods themselves look down from their impossibly vast black skyscraper, Asgard.
