Ralan's Webstravaganza - If you write speculative fiction, particularly short stories, and you want to know where to sell them, this is the single best market list available on internet, and it's free.
StoryPilot - Another market database (formerly called The Engine), this time searchable with plenty of search options.
Quintamid - And another market database, this one having the advantage of being quick and easy to see the markets. However, it's not really as up-to-date.
Critters - Critters is a free online writing workshop. If you want other writers to read your stories then this is a good place to start.
Speculations - News, information, discussion boards for writers of science fiction, fantasy and horror. Lots of writers and lots of useful discussions.
SFWA - Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. The professional association for professional writers of science fiction and fantasy, whether they're American or not. Lots of articles and advice even if you're not a member.
Preditors and Editors - If you're a writer looking for an agent or a publisher, look here first. If you don't, you'll probably get burned. Provides lists of agents and editors, along with warnings about scams and corrupt operators.
SFSite - Reviews of books and magazines.
Sff.net - Websites of many writers, lots of newsgroups.
SF Crowsnest - Reviews of books and films, interviews and news, all about SF and fantasy.
